IVF Got You is an independent directory and comparison site. We are not a clinic, we do not employ clinicians, and nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. We cannot tell you whether a treatment, protocol or clinic is right for you. Only a qualified fertility specialist who has reviewed your history and test results can do that.

2. Always speak to a clinician first

Speak to your GP, fertility consultant or the treating clinic before starting, stopping or changing any treatment or medication, and before travelling abroad for treatment. If you have urgent symptoms, contact your local emergency service or your treating clinic immediately. Never delay seeking medical help because of something you read here.

3. How to read our success rates

Success rates on this site are reported by the clinics themselves and are not audited by us. They are not directly comparable between clinics because:

• Clinics measure different things: clinical pregnancy, ongoing pregnancy or live birth.
• They use different denominators: per embryo transfer, per egg collection, or cumulative across several cycles.
• Patient populations differ. A clinic with strict age or BMI criteria will usually report higher rates than one accepting complex cases.

Where a clinic publishes the methodology, we show it alongside the figures. Ask any clinic for their live-birth rate for patients in your age band and with your diagnosis before deciding.

4. Prices and eligibility

Prices shown are indicative starting prices supplied by clinics or taken from their published price lists, and they change. Medication, genetic testing, freezing, storage, travel and accommodation are often extra. Legal eligibility (for example, treatment for single women or same-sex couples, donor anonymity rules and gender selection) is set by national law and can change. Always confirm the current price and your eligibility directly with the clinic in writing.

Posts in the IVF Got You Community are personal experiences shared by members of the public. They are not verified by us and are not medical advice. What worked for one person may be unsafe or inappropriate for another.

7. Reporting an error
