Instituto Bernabeu is a private fertility group founded by the late Dr Rafael Bernabeu, with Dr Andrea Bernabeu appointed Medical Director in 2024. The Alicante centre houses three laboratories, two operating theatres and nine en-suite single recovery rooms, with on-site parking, disabled access, Wi-Fi and an on-site pharmacy. It operates a separate Poor Responders Independent Unit for patients with early ovarian failure, offering laboratory testing, 4D ovarian and uterine scans, genetic marker testing, prognosis reporting and Array-CGH. The group runs a dedicated International Patient Department across all of its sites, and its 2024 international patient mix was led by Italy (22.4%), the UK (9.9%) and Germany (7.2%).
